Our services

Our passion for research and people is driven by our need for diversity. Like every individual, each research project is unique and has a different set of needs. Addressing these needs is the reason we are excited about research.

ethnoscope is a specialist agency focusing on ad hoc research projects into ethnic, faith and minority groups and gender analysis. Our specialist expertise underpins every aspect of our work – as long as your research needs match our community experience then we’ll design and implement a study to answer to find you the answers. If your question lies in how to address gender or equality issues in your work, we can assist in the analysis and design of impact assessments, and strategic plans for achieving equality in the work place.

We are interested in any brief, no matter how small. We can manage your entire project from conception to delivery, or undertake the specific project elements you require – be it desk research, recruitment and moderating, or analysis. Our vision for development and ability to see wider than the researcher’s eye will make sure that your delivered project takes your company’s strategic interests into account.

ethnoscope’s structure allows us the flexibility to draw on a consultant’s area of specialist expertise as and when needed. We will always try to use bilingual interviewers, and our expert knowledge means we know just when and how to approach community members in a way that is sensitive and respectful. ethnoscope works using members’ knowledge and associates in communities, to ensure the selection process is informed, reliable and takes into account communities’ own complexities.

Our extensive community networks mean we have the access to communities that are normally inaccessible to research agencies, particularly for projects with tight turnarounds.

Our specialist researchers have the implicit cultural understanding and linguistic knowledge to ensure a culturally sensitive and informed approach is taken.

And our in-house database of respondents from specific communities means we have a pool of potentially suitable respondents already on the books. And if we can’t find them from there, our links and knowledge of community networks ensures your potential respondents are not far off!

ethnoscope’s members have worked in the following areas:
  • Migration
  • New Communities
  • Employment and Education
  • Welfare Benefits
  • Political Participation
  • Political Risks
  • Health
  • Domestic Violence
  • Gender specific issues

Whatever your research needs, we will work with you to deliver the understanding you need. Please contact us we'd love to talk to you more about how we can help.
